Andrew Kellaway had a cheeky dig at a battered Harry Wilson as Saturday night’s Super Rugby Pacific showdown between Queensland and NSW lived up to the pre-match excitement.
The Waratahs fullback Kellaway received a yellow card in the first half for lifting Reds No.8 Wilson beyond the horizontal in a hazardous tackle.
The Wallabies teammates were exchanging plenty of banter as Kellaway made his way off the field, showing little respect to his Test captain, who pointed him towards the sideline in frustration.

“There’s definitely some tension in the air,” Stan Sport’s Justin Harrison remarked from the sideline in Brisbane.
“I can tell you, as Andy Kellaway walked off the field, he was still having a go at Harry Wilson.
“Wilson was firing back. Kellaway was telling him in no uncertain terms that as a forward, he should show more toughness. It’s brilliant to see.”
However, Wilson got the last laugh, scoring a try shortly after Kellaway returned from his 10 minutes in the sin bin.
Waratahs winger Triston Reilly caught the hosts off guard with a try in just the third minute, but Reds fullback Heremaia Murray quickly equalised with a clever chip and chase to exploit NSW’s backfield.
Reserve Reds hooker Richie Asiata then crossed the line following a powerful rolling maul, extending Les Kiss’ side’s lead to a commanding 21-8 at halftime.
