The 2024 Victorian champions have been honoured at the Motorsports Australia State Awards, proudly sponsored by Shannons Insurance.
Hosted by Bruce Astbury, the ceremony took place at the Blanchard Racing Team Workshop at Racer Industries, attracting over 100 attendees.
Jayden Hamilton received the Victorian Future Star Award, showcasing his remarkable talent as a young driver, which he has demonstrated through his dedication, expertise, and determination.
In 2024, Hamilton raced in the Giti Australian Formula Open Series and the Indian F4 Championship, achieving an impressive tally of 10 podium finishes in the Giti Australian Formula Open Series.
Additionally, Hamilton was recognised for his advocacy work, serving as a spokesperson and ambassador for Bully Zero, where he raises awareness about the impacts of bullying while offering support to victims and their families.

Jeremy Cath was awarded the Victorian State Official of the Year, recognising his exceptional dedication as an official at Motorsport Australia events.
Cath is an active participant in the Victorian Flag Marshalling Team, PIARC, the Victorian State Officiating Panel, and the Victorian Hillclimb Panel, showcasing his commitment across various officiating positions.
His contributions in the pit lane, on the grid, and in race control, along with his qualifications as an event assessor, have allowed him to train and mentor countless new officials.
Cath’s outstanding service to the sport also earned him a Service Award.
Additionally, 11 individuals were acknowledged with Service Awards, highlighting the significant involvement of many in motorsport over the years.
The recipients of this esteemed award include Geoff Rowley, Alan Campbell, Gary Howard, Keith Perkins, Tim Macrow, Ross Girvan, Chris Harwood, Andy Dobbyn, Michael Arnott, Geoff Riddle, and Glenn Rochester.

The prestigious Service Star Award was presented to five individuals who have shown exemplary commitment to Motorsport Australia over the years in various roles and activities. The honourees are Arthur Bartlett, Laurie Griffin, David Bellenger, Matt Selley, and Ian Leech.
Motorsport Australia also extended its congratulations to the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship Round 4 for clinching the Victorian State Motorsport Event of the Year Award.
Put on by the Australian Sports Sedan Association of Victoria, the event boasted over 150 volunteers and featured 225 competitors across eight state-level and two national categories.
This event also provided essential training for new officials and facilitated live streaming, ensuring a successful and memorable round of the championship.

The evening also acknowledged numerous club milestones, celebrating their enduring commitment to the motorsport community.
The Mustang Owners Club of Australia Victoria and Sunraysia Motor Sports Club both marked an impressive 50 years, while the 944 Racing Association celebrated its 25-year milestone.
Eight clubs commemorated 10 years, including the 86 BRZ Club of Australia, the Victorian Clubman Builders Group, the PI Classic Race Committee, the Hyundai Excel Racing Association, Melbourne Old School Cruisers, the Touring Car Masters Competitors Register, the Tri State Car Club, and the Wyndham Classic Car Club.
Motorsport Australia congratulates all award winners and expresses its gratitude to the officials, volunteers, and supporters who drive the Victorian motorsport community.
