The Roosters have established themselves as one of the NRL’s premier clubs in recent years, largely due to their “no dickheads” policy.
However, fiery forward Spencer Leniu appears to have flown under the radar at Bondi Junction, as his actions on Friday night eclipsed an outstanding performance by the Roosters against the Broncos.
Leniu further fuelled the controversy on Saturday morning by taking to social media to express his frustrations.
Sources suggest that Leniu was upset after Johnathan Thurston confronted him over the Vegas incident, while seemingly not holding the same accountability for Mam, who crashed his car while under the influence of drugs, causing injuries to several passengers in the other vehicle.

While Leniu may have his reasons, it’s important for the Roosters to advise him to get his act together.
His Vegas antics were completely out of line, and this latest outburst has again drawn unwanted attention. Referring to a media interviewer as a “f—wit” is simply unacceptable.
In an Instagram post, Leniu remarked:
“I never wanted to speak to JT,” he stated. “He kept trying to approach me!
“I told him, ‘Mate, I don’t care if you dislike me for my actions. But don’t come up to me with questions as if we’re all good (sic).
“Don’t be two-faced (sic). It’s fine if you dislike me, I can handle that.
“Just don’t pretend to be something you’re not. I can’t stand fake people.”
The big forward needs to take a step back and reflect on his actions, or perhaps the Roosters should facilitate a conversation about why this kind of conduct is unacceptable.
