Josh Giddey continued his impressive form as the Chicago Bulls dealt the Denver Nuggets a second consecutive defeat on Tuesday (AEDT).
The 22-year-old Australian secured his fourth double-double in a row, contributing to an unexpected 129-121 win at the United Center.
In a strong all-round performance, Giddey recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds.

“They’re going to give him that shot, and he’s got to make teams pay,” Chicago Sports Network analyst Stacey King noted during the broadcast.
“They’re not going to rotate out there to him; he’s got to knock down that jumper like he just did … Josh Giddey is beginning to discover his range.”
Additionally, Giddey’s teammate Nikola Vucevic was pivotal in the victory, contributing 20 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Zach LaVine chipped in with 21 points and Lonzo Ball added 18.
The Denver side struggled despite an outstanding performance from Nikola Jokic, who notched up 33 points, 14 assists, and 12 rebounds, marking his sixth triple-double in just seven games.
The three-time MVP currently leads the NBA with a remarkable 21 triple-doubles this season.

Late in the third quarter, Chicago surged ahead with a 12-0 run to take a 90-88 lead, but Jokic responded with a slam dunk followed by a technical foul shot, allowing Denver to end the quarter with a narrow edge.
However, the Bulls regained control at the start of the fourth quarter, unleashing a 13-0 run that propelled them to an eventual eight-point victory.
