Brisbane Roar have secured the services of CommBank Matildas goalkeeper Chloe Lincoln, enticing the 20-year-old from Western United for the upcoming 2025-26 Ninja A-League season.
Lincoln joined Western from Canberra in May 2024 and quickly made her mark, featuring in 15 matches under head coach Kat Smith.
As a member of the Young Matildas U-20 World Cup squad, Lincoln made her way into the senior Matildas team in October and celebrated her international debut two months later against Chinese Taipei.
In this new chapter, Lincoln trades her green and black colours for orange, joining her Matildas teammates Tameka Yallop and Laini Freier as the third Matildas player in Brisbane’s line-up for the forthcoming Ninja A-League campaign.
Brisbane head coach Alex Smith expressed his enthusiasm in welcoming Lincoln as his first acquisition of the off-season.
“I am delighted to introduce Chloe to the club for next year,” Smith shared.
“At such a young age, she already has a wealth of experience within the league and now with the Matildas.”
“I am confident she will contribute significantly to our style of play and help us reach our objectives. I eagerly anticipate working with her and witnessing her ongoing development.”
“Brisbane Roar has a proud history of attracting top goalkeepers, and Chloe is no exception. It’s fantastic to have one of the best young Australian goalkeepers join our ranks.”

“Brisbane Roar is thrilled to have Chloe on board and we can’t wait to see her make an immediate impact.”
“Chloe arrives at the Roar as one of Australia’s top keepers, and as a CommBank Matilda, she signifies our strong commitment to returning to finals football in the Ninja A-League next season.”
