In anticipation of tonight’s friendly match against Lithuania in Odense, Danish national team coach Brian Riemer has made seven alterations to his starting lineup.
“We will evaluate our plan B against Lithuania, featuring a team that utilizes two strikers,” Riemer stated earlier this week during the press conference leading up to Tuesday’s match.
The two forwards chosen for this encounter are Kasper Dolberg and Mika Biereth, resulting in Rasmus Hojlund starting on the bench.
Overall, Riemer has made a total of seven changes from the previous friendly against Northern Ireland, opting for a 4-4-2 formation for tonight’s game.
Kasper Schmeichel returns to goal after being replaced by Filip Jorgensen in the match against Northern Ireland. In front of Schmeichel, the defensive lineup includes Rasmus Nissen Kristensen, Joachim Andersen, Jannik Vestergaard, and Patrick Dorgu.
The midfield features Anders Dreyer alongside central duo Morten Hjulmand and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with Christian Eriksen rounding out the unit.
The game kicks off at 19:00.
The Starting Line-up:
Kasper Schmeichel – Rasmus Nissen Kristensen, Joachim Andersen, Jannik Vestergaard, Patrick Dorgu – Anders Dreyer, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Morten Hjulmand, Christian Eriksen – Kasper Dolberg, Mika Biereth
