Jai Arrow found himself at the centre of a fiery confrontation with fans during South Sydney’s defeat against the Bulldogs.
On the field, Arrow had a close encounter with Viliame Kikau and Stephen Crichton, almost coming to blows on one occasion.
However, the most intense moment unfolded off the field, where he required restraint from officials and police intervention after facing heckling while approaching the bench in the 65th minute.
A video shared on social media by the Bulldogs Kennel account shows Arrow engaged in a heated exchange with a rival supporter.

Officials from both Souths and the NRL had to step in to separate Arrow from the fan, with Rabbitohs trainer John Sutton seen attempting to defuse the situation.
The fan then responded by blowing kisses and making a heart gesture towards Arrow, while police were observed speaking to the Bulldogs supporter.
South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett saw the lighter side of the situation when asked about it in the post-match interview.
“I wish he could show that fire on the field, that would be fantastic,” Bennett remarked.
“It’d be great if he displayed that kind of passion out there … but I’m not aware of the specifics.”

Cody Walker remained tight-lipped about the incident, despite being nearby at the time.
“I didn’t hear anything; I was right next to him with 65,000 people around,” he stated.
