PSV Eindhoven has announced the departure of French centre-back Olivier Boscagli after an impressive six-year stint at the club.
The 27-year-old Boscagli leaves upon the conclusion of his contract.
“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported and assisted me, both from close by and afar,” Boscagli shared on the official club website.
“A huge thank you goes to my teammates, the coaching staff, the PSV personnel, and, of course, the fans. I will always cherish my time here and the journey I’ve travelled—filled with defeats, uncertainties, injuries, victories, celebrations, and trophies. All these experiences have shaped who I am today.”
Speculation Surrounding Brighton
Since joining PSV from OGC Nice in 2019, Boscagli has made 204 appearances for the 26-time Dutch champions. During his time at PSV, he clinched two Eredivisie titles, twice lifted the KNVB Beker, and secured three Johan Cruyff Shields.
Reports suggest that the Monaco-born defender is attracting interest from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls made a bid for Boscagli last summer, but PSV opted to retain their player.
