Nine Entertainment Co. will maintain its status as the home of the Paralympic Games after securing exclusive audio-visual and non-exclusive audio rights for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
From March 6 to 15, Nine will exclusively broadcast the Milano-Cortina Paralympics to Australian viewers on Channel Nine, 9Now, and Stan Sport.
Additionally, Nine’s coverage will extend to radio stations such as 2GB, 3AW, 6PR, and 4BC, along with a comprehensive range of print and digital platforms, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, WAtoday, The Australian Financial Review, nine.com.au, and wwos.com.au.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Games will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Paralympic Winter Games, which took place in 1976.
Up to 665 para-athletes representing 50 countries are expected to participate, competing for medals in 79 events across six sports.
Matt Stanton, CEO of Nine, expressed pride in continuing the company’s affiliation with the Paralympic Games.
“Through Nine’s unmatched capabilities in streaming, broadcasting, and publishing, Australian audiences will be able to engage with the thrilling action and remarkable stories of these extraordinary athletes, whenever and however they choose,” Stanton remarked.

Andrea Varnier, CEO of Milano-Cortina 2026, expressed excitement about partnering with Nine.
“From March 6 to 15, 2026, as Italy takes centre stage with events in Verona, Milano, Cortina, and Val di Fiemme, Australian supporters will have the opportunity to follow every moment of this global celebration of elite winter sport and fervour,” Varnier stated.
“We eagerly anticipate collaborating with Nine to bring the thrill of the Games directly to the Australian audience.”
