Victor Wembanyama is set to welcome a new point guard, as De’Aaron Fox departs Sacramento for San Antonio.
Fox is one of the key figures in a three-team trade agreement that will see Zach LaVine move from Chicago to Sacramento, while Zach Collins heads from San Antonio to Chicago and Kevin Huerter transitions from the Kings to the Bulls, according to two individuals familiar with the negotiations.
The sources requested anonymity when speaking to The Associated Press, given that the trade is still awaiting league approval.
Additional players involved include Jordan McLaughlin, who will join the Spurs from Sacramento, Sidy Cissoko moving from San Antonio to the Kings, and Tre Jones departing the Spurs for Chicago, as indicated by the sources who spoke to AP.

The deal also includes a substantial amount of draft capital, with Sacramento reportedly set to receive a minimum of three first-round picks, as indicated by one of the sources.
This season, Fox is posting impressive averages of 25 points, 6.1 assists, and five rebounds per game for the Kings.
He is a former All-Star and All-NBA player and will now have the opportunity to partner with one of the league’s most promising young talents in Wembanyama as he embarks on his eighth season.
This trade follows a significant move the day before, which involved Luka Doncic.
Doncic is making his way to the LA Lakers to join LeBron James.
