The Central Coast Mariners have announced that their standout defender, Brian Kaltak, is set to depart the Isuzu UTE A-League club after a successful three years filled with silverware.
Kaltak, who first took to the field with the Mariners in 2022, will leave Gosford when his contract concludes, having shown interest in pursuing opportunities abroad.
This 31-year-old Vanuatu international bids farewell as a club icon, having secured two Championships during his tenure, including an unprecedented treble in the 2023-24 season.

Throughout his time at the club, Kaltak has made over 100 appearances, contributing to victories in both the AFC Cup and the Isuzu UTE A-League Premiership.
“The Central Coast Mariners extend their gratitude to Brian for his exceptional service to the club,” the statement noted.
In addition to team accolades, Kaltak also garnered personal accolades, having been selected in the PFA A-League Team of the Season for two consecutive years in both 2022-23 and 2023-24. Furthermore, he earned back-to-back Coaches Player of the Year awards at the Mariners Medal Dinners held in 2023 and 2024.
