The Under-23 squad from Australia is brimming with talent from the A-Leagues for this month’s Doha International U23 Cup in Qatar.
From the 23-member team preparing to compete against Croatia (19 March), the UAE (22 March), and Qatar (25 March), a remarkable 22 players hail from the Isuzu UTE A-League. Coach Tony Vidmar is gearing up for the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers set for September.

The only player in the squad not linked to the Isuzu UTE A-League is A-Leagues graduate Mohamed Toure, currently with Rangers.
Four players from Western Sydney Wanderers make up the largest club representation, closely followed by Western United, which includes Matthew Grimaldi after he netted his first career brace, and Melbourne Victory, each with three representatives.
Adrian Segecic from Sydney FC, who is in the hunt for the Golden Boot, has also earned a spot in the squad.
