A Carlton manager has been referred to the AFL’s integrity unit following complaints from staff, as reported by Sam McClure from The Age.
The integrity unit is reportedly confident that the club can address the issue internally but has confirmed that communication with Carlton has taken place.
The Blues have acknowledged to The Age that they are managing an internal “management issue”.

“Although the club cannot comment on specific employees, we want to emphasise that this matter is not connected to any gender-related misconduct, and any such suggestions are incorrect and misleading,” the club’s statement outlined.
“The safety and well-being of our people is the club’s utmost priority, and this is central to our handling of the situation.”
While the manager in question has not been suspended, it’s noteworthy that they are currently on pre-scheduled leave.
It’s been a tumultuous season for Carlton, both on and off the field, starting the year with four losses and facing defeat against wooden spoon contenders Richmond.
In other news, former president Luke Sayers stepped down following a scandal involving inappropriate photos during the summer.
