The fifth consecutive draw in the head-to-head encounters between Bologna and Juventus keeps both teams firmly in the chase for a top-four finish in Serie A, with the Bianconeri maintaining an impressive unbeaten streak of 28 matches against Bologna.
Despite a tumultuous season that led to the dismissal of former Bologna manager Thiago Motta in March, Juventus has remained in contention for a top-four spot. The visitors made an excellent start, taking the lead within the first nine minutes of the match.
Andrea Cambiaso charged through the Bologna defence before passing to Khéphren Thuram, who controlled the ball and fired a low shot from just outside the box that found its way into the net, even though Łukasz Skorupski managed to get a hand to it.

Bologna responded positively after conceding early, although they struggled to create significant threats against Michele Di Gregorio. At the 25-minute mark, Riccardo Orsolini took a corner that seemed destined to find the net, but Juve’s goalkeeper managed to tip it over the bar. Shortly after, Sam Beukema headed over from a subsequent set-piece.
Nicolás González appeared to have doubled Juve’s lead just before half-time when he broke through on goal and slid a shot past Skorupski, but his celebrations were cut short as the goal was disallowed for offside.
The visitors found the net for a third time five minutes after the break when Andrea Cambiaso slid the ball home, only for the effort to again be ruled out by the offside flag.
Bologna equalised in the 54th minute, compounding the visitors’ frustration. Nicolò Cambiaghi delivered a high ball to the back post, where Thijs Dallinga headed down to Remo Freuler, who took a touch and finished with a deflected shot.

Juventus kept searching for a second goal as a goalmouth scramble saw Alberto Costa take a shot that was blocked on the line.
Ultimately, neither team could secure that elusive second goal, and they settled for a share of the spoils. Juventus climbed back into the top four above Roma, while Bologna remained just a point behind, extending their unbeaten run at home to ten matches.
