Australian tennis enthusiasts are unlikely to forget Danielle Collins in a hurry.
The American player stirred up controversy at Melbourne Park last month, clashing with the Open crowd during her victory over local talent Destanee Aiava.
She instructed fans to “shut up” and taunted them after securing the win, blowing sarcastic kisses and giving a playful slap to her behind.
The provocations continued as she thanked Aussie supporters for contributing to her “big fat pay cheque,” which she claimed would fund a holiday in the Bahamas post-Open.
Staying true to her promise, the 31-year-old shared a video on Instagram on Monday, confirming she is enjoying an extravagant getaway in the Caribbean nation off Cuba’s coast.

She captioned the post “this five-star vacay brought to you by…” as a cheeky reference to her time spent in Melbourne.
The video concluded with her blowing a kiss and delivering a playful slap on her backside after partaking in a game of pickleball with a friend.
Collins was eliminated from the Australian Open in the third round by fellow American and eventual champion Madison Keys.
It was a noteworthy week for the fiery player, who also targeted Nine presenter Tony Jones during her brief stay in Melbourne.
Collins challenged Jones to a “Brat dance” after he critiqued her remarks about the Aussie crowd.
She received jeers while leaving and entering the court during her match against Keys, particularly for boasting about her earnings.
“I was truly happy to have done that,” she told reporters following her altercation with the spectators.
“One of the best aspects of being a professional athlete is that those who dislike you or even hate you are the ones funding your lifestyle. It’s quite an intriguing concept.
“Naturally, my professional career won’t last indefinitely. So, I remind myself daily that those experiences contribute to the Danielle Collins Fund.”
