Motorsport Australia’s acclaimed Women’s Introduction to Motorsport programme is returning to Sydney Motorsport Park with two exhilarating nights illuminated by floodlights, set for Wednesday, 11 June, and Wednesday, 17 September.
Initially launched in 2023, the Women’s Introduction to Motorsport initiative has gained widespread recognition, earning a place as a finalist in the VicHealth Sport and Active Recreation Initiative of the Year at the 2023 Victorian Sport Awards.
The programme’s success has inspired local car clubs to take part in its delivery, broadening its reach and impact throughout the nation.
In March, the Toyosports Car Club NSW hosted its inaugural Women’s Introduction to Motorsport event, with over 20 participants taking part in the club-led experience, demonstrating how local clubs can be instrumental in attracting more women to the sport.

These upcoming night sessions provide an exceptional opportunity for women to get behind the wheel, enhance their confidence, and explore grassroots motorsport in a safe and encouraging environment.
Participants will engage in a range of on-track driving exercises using their own road cars.
With support from experienced motorsport professionals, they will grasp the essentials of car control, track safety, and vehicle preparation.
Whether you’re a complete novice or simply intrigued by motorsport, this programme offers the ideal introduction to the racing world, with no prior experience needed.

Open to women aged 16 and above, both events aim to provide an approachable, inclusive, and thrilling introduction to the world of motorsport.
Participation costs $195, and attendees are required to bring their own road vehicle to join in.
Women aged 16 and over who are interested are encouraged to register online now, as entries will close on 30 May for the first Sydney event and 3 September for the second event.
