Western Sydney Wanderers have confirmed that nine first-team players will be departing the club after the end of their Ninja A-League contracts.
In addition to the earlier announcement regarding defender Madison McComasky’s exit, the Wanderers have also bid farewell to Sienna Saveska, Amelia Cassar, Gemma Ferris, Paige Haywood, Talia Kapetanellis, Maya Lobo, Aya Seino, Keely Segavcic, and Bronte Trew.
Last season’s Golden Boot winner, Saveska, netted seven goals and provided three assists during her 22 appearances for the team, which unfortunately finished at the bottom of the table.
Trew, a midfielder, also delivered a notable performance, scoring four goals across 19 matches, proving her worth to Geoff Abrahams’ side.

Moreover, Young Matildas midfielder Cassar has opted for a transfer to fierce rivals Sydney FC, signing a three-year contract with Ante Juric’s team.
With last season’s Julie Dolan Medallist Sophie Harding already leaving the club, the Wanderers now have only 12 players contracted for the upcoming 2025-26 season, indicating that fans should anticipate several new signings in the lead-up to the new campaign.
On a brighter note for the Wanderers, influential midfielder Amy Chessari has committed to the club for the foreseeable future, while promising young star Talia Younis has also renewed her contract.
Additionally, 24-year-old midfielder Ena Harada has also agreed to a new deal ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
