The Western Sydney Wanderers have announced that Alexander Badolato, a product of their academy, has left Wanderland after the mutual ending of his contract.
At just 20 years old, Badolato joined the Wanderers’ academy at the age of 13 in 2018 and secured his first scholarship contract with the club in 2021.
He made his senior team debut in the same year and went on to appear over 20 times for the Wanderers in the subsequent four seasons. He later transferred on loan to Melbourne Victory mid-way through the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025-26 season, playing a key role in helping the Victory reach the 2025 Grand Final.
With his departure from the Wanderers now confirmed, Badolato is on the lookout for new opportunities with another club. He joins fellow players who have recently left, including Nicolas Milanovic (Aberdeen), Marcus Antonsson, Jack Clisby, Dean Pelekanos, Jeong Tae-Wook, Taiga Harper, and Zac Sapsford (Dundee United) following the conclusion of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2024-25 season.
