Victor Radley faces yet another short spell on the sidelines after sustaining an unfortunate injury during round four.
The 27-year-old departed the pitch for a head injury assessment (HIA) following a tough collision in the first half of the Sydney Roosters’ defeat to the Titans, but fortunately, he was cleared of concussion and permitted to play on.
However, the club has since confirmed that Radley has sustained a cheekbone injury and will be unavailable for at least a week.
“Victor Radley has been cleared of concussion, but precautionary scans have indicated a minor cheekbone injury. He will not be available for selection,” the statement revealed.

The lock was knocked unconscious in the round two fixture against the Broncos but made a comeback in the following week’s match against the Warriors.
He experienced a head knock during that game as well, yet was cleared by independent medical staff.

Radley’s absence, even if just for a week, will significantly impact the Roosters as they gear up for a crucial clash against their arch-rivals, South Sydney.
Connor Watson is anticipated to return from concussion, while Brandon Smith and Sam Walker remain out for the long term.
