The 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour is set to deliver yet another thrilling endurance experience, and this year, spectators will spot a vibrant transformation on the Race For A Cure vehicle, now adorned in a striking new orange livery.
This change signifies an exciting partnership between the Kavich siblings, Ben and Michael, and Thryv, a top-tier marketing and sales software provider for small businesses.
Joining them on the team is Supercars sensation Thomas Randle, who has been a vital part of the Race For A Cure initiative since 2023.
A cancer survivor, Randle perfectly represents the mission of Race For A Cure, infusing the quest for success with profound significance.
“Having a driver of Thomas Randle’s exceptional talent, who also shares a personal connection to the cause, is incredibly rare,” remarked Ben Kavich.
“His skills give us a notable edge on the track, but it’s his personal journey that amplifies our impact even further.
“Randle brings authenticity and visibility to our programme, aiding in our efforts to raise awareness effectively. Beyond that, he’s just a fantastic person – approachable, collaborative, and a delight to have on board with the team.”
With Thryv’s support, the Kavich brothers are entering a new chapter, swapping yellow for orange as they intensify their crusade against breast cancer.
Elise Balsillie, Head of Thryv Australia and New Zealand, is enthusiastic about this collaboration.
“The alliance between Thryv and Race for a Cure is exceptionally meaningful,” Balsillie stated.
“The contributions and funds raised by the Kavich family for Breast Cancer Trials have been extraordinary, but it transcends mere finances; it’s about the awareness and hope they’re offering to the wider community.
“As a company, we are truly honoured to back the Race For A Cure team, merging their passion for motorsport with such a commendable cause. We eagerly anticipate seeing them on the track this weekend.”

The Kavich brothers are proud second-generation racers, having inherited their racing enthusiasm from their father, Tony Kavich, a former Australian Touring Car driver and the 1988 AUSCAR champion.
Tony raced under the sponsorship of Yellow Pages at Bathurst during the 1980s, behind the wheel of a Mazda RX7 and later a Holden Commodore.
“The first time we went to the Bathurst 1000 as kids, it was in our father’s car featuring Yellow Pages branding,” noted Ben Kavich.
“To participate in such a cherished Bathurst endurance event, while introducing vibrant new brands and colours to the sport, fills us with pride.
“We’re grateful for the trust Thryv has placed in us to represent them.”
Ben and Michael have taken part in every Bathurst 6 Hour since its inception in 2016, achieving impressive results, including a recent second-place finish in 2024.
After Ben’s wife, Toula, was diagnosed with breast cancer immediately following the first event, the brothers established Race For A Cure to leverage their racing team as a platform for change and research.
Since its formation in 2017, Race For A Cure has amassed nearly $250,000 for Breast Cancer Trials, harnessing the power of motorsport to fund essential research that enhances survival rates and treatment alternatives.
The Kavich brothers will compete at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, amidst a field of 72 cars, ensuring an action-packed weekend.
The 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour is scheduled for the Easter long weekend, from 18–20 April.
