Vejle Boldklub has secured the services of former FC Copenhagen defender Christian Sorensen on a three-year contract.
Christian Sorensen has transitioned from FC Midtjylland to Vejle after previously representing Viborg and FC Copenhagen, culminating in his signing a three-year deal with Vejle Boldklub.
“In discussions with Mikkel Hemmersam and Ivan Prelec, I have become convinced that Vejle Boldklub is the right fit for me moving forward. I am set for an important position, with the club highlighting the significance of both my football abilities and personal qualities. The overall opportunity is very appealing to me,” stated Christian Sorensen on the Vejle website.
“In the immediate future, the goal is to ensure that Vejle Boldklub maintains its status in the 3F Superliga for the upcoming season, but we have already begun the work of establishing a robust club. I aim to contribute to laying the groundwork for a team that aspires to be competitive in the 3F Superliga.”
“We have a challenging schedule ahead in the new season, but I am confident that this new squad will develop into a formidable presence in the Danish Superliga,” asserted Christian Sorensen.
The 32-year-old left-back moved to FC Midtjylland last summer from FC Copenhagen, although his time in Central Jutland was not a success.
He found himself completely sidelined for an extended period, managing to feature in only seven matches for the club.
