Latrell Mitchell showcased his value to NSW with an outstanding piece of skill that set up Brian To’o during the first half of Origin I.
The Blues were positioned near the left post, just 15 metres from the line, as Nathan Cleary manoeuvred the ball before offloading it to his halves partner, Mitchell Moses.
Moses executed a cut-out pass to Mitchell, who seamlessly caught and passed to To’o, allowing him to score in the corner as Xavier Coates charged in from his wing.
“When you have the world’s elite players collaborating, remarkable things occur,” Andrew Johns remarked on Nine.
“That was as good as it gets; it’s something special,” he added, praising Mitchell’s extraordinary pass.

Maroons legend Cameron Smith labelled it “incredible skill” and “classy,” while Brad Fittler marvelled at the quickness of the South Sydney star’s hand-eye coordination while airborne.
“It’s remarkable that Latrell managed to flick that ball with such speed while off the ground; I don’t know how he generates the strength,” he said.
