Brian Kelly was left perplexed after being sent to the sin bin, having been flagged offside twice during the same scrum.
Following the initial offside call against the Titans centre, the Bulldogs chose to reset the scrum.
When Kelly was called offside again, referee Todd Smith had no choice but to send him to the bin.
A number of Titans players appeared bewildered by the decision until Smith took a moment to clarify the circumstances.

The timing of the decision couldn’t have been worse for the Titans, who had just scored through Phillip Sami, giving them a glimmer of hope in the match.
For the Bulldogs, the game was largely straightforward as they ultimately secured a 38-18 victory.
This 10-minute interval only added to what had already been a challenging day for Kelly.
He failed to convert his first three attempts – slipping while trying the second – before finally managing to land one from directly in front.

“He couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn today,” Andrew Voss joked in commentary for Fox Sports after his third miss.
If that wasn’t enough for Des Hasler to feel frustrated, Chris Randall was also sin-binned with just under 10 minutes remaining for a professional foul on Bronson Xerri.
Gold Coast had just scored two back-to-back tries and seemed to be mounting a comeback, only for their efforts to be stifled by the scoreline.
Jacob Preston received a yellow card with four minutes remaining for a crusher tackle on Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, leaving the in-form Bulldogs forward anxiously awaiting news of his condition.
