The Wests Tigers are looking into an altercation that resulted in two men being charged with assault and several others requiring hospital treatment during the team’s defeat to the Rabbitohs.
A clash between rival supporters erupted in the stands at approximately 7.50pm on Sunday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, as detailed in a police statement released on Monday.
Upon arrival, officers at the scene were reportedly assaulted, with one officer punched in the head and another struck in the face, according to the statement.
Two individuals sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals following the incident.
One man was admitted to Liverpool Hospital with a suspected concussion, while another was transported to Campbelltown Hospital with injuries to his face.
Four spectators involved in the incident were removed from the stadium.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with affray, assaulting police (two counts), and resisting arrest, according to the Campbelltown Police report.
He has been granted conditional bail and is set to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on 12 June 2025.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested for common assault and will receive a court attendance notice.
The Wests Tigers have confirmed that they are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and will take appropriate action.
“Such behaviour will not be tolerated by the club,” stated a Tigers release.
“We extend our apologies to all those affected, particularly to the police officers and anyone else injured during these events.”
