Nelson Asofa-Solomona is facing a potential suspension after being reported for a troubling hip-drop tackle during the Queensland Cup.
He marked his return with the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.
This imposing Kiwi last played in the Melbourne Storm colours during last year’s preliminary finals, where he was sent off early for a high tackle on Lindsay Collins, resulting in a five-match suspension; three of those games were served during the Pacific Championships.

Unfortunately for the prop, his time in the Queensland Cup has landed him back in trouble following a hip-drop tackle on Zebedy Kip of the PNG Hunters.
Despite the incident, Kip was able to get back on his feet without any apparent issues, as his teammates rushed to his side.
