League great Brad Fittler has voiced his concern that the Tigers might jeopardise their chances at victory by leaving young playmaker Lachlan Galvin out of the side this week.
Coach Benji Marshall has made the controversial decision to drop Galvin from the squad for the upcoming Easter Monday match against Parramatta.
At just 19 years old, Galvin has been one of the standout performers of the team but has found himself benched after informing the club that he would not be accepting a lucrative contract extension.
Adam Doueihi has been brought in to the playmaker role to partner Jarome Luai for the match against the Eels.

“The Tigers are currently facing a few challenges,” noted Andrew Johns in a discussion with Wide World of Sports.
“Doueihi will play the five-eighth position but will wear the number seven jersey.”
“This game is bound to be a close contest… there’s a bit of rivalry involved too.”

Although several of Nine’s analysts are backing the Tigers for a win, Fittler is adamant that the absence of Galvin will be a critical factor.
“(Doueihi) will play on the right,” Fittler commented.
“One of the things that has really clicked for them on the right side is involving (fullback Jahream) Bula in plays, which has been fantastic largely due to Lachlan Galvin’s contributions.”
“He will be competing at Lidcombe Oval this week in reserve grade,” Fittler added about Galvin.
“Therefore, my prediction is a win for the Parramatta team.”
Fittler also anticipates an upset by the Dolphins against Melbourne in round seven.
