Dutch international Noa Lang is set to make a move to Italian champions Napoli, with reports indicating an agreement has been reached between PSV Eindhoven and the Neapolitan side.
Napoli have shown keen interest in signing Noa Lang since the January transfer window, when they attempted to secure his services from PSV. However, the Eindhoven club thwarted that move, as director Earnest Stewart confirmed back in May.
“At the time, we were leading the table during the winter break, and we made the conscious decision not to sell one of our standout players,” he shared with NOS. “Many questioned our decision, saying we were mad. We had discussions with Noa and his agent right away.”
As reported by NOS Sport, a definitive agreement has been secured for a permanent transfer. The 26-year-old Lang is expected to ink a five-year contract in Naples, with a salary of €2.5 million per year. According to Italian transfer guru Nicolo Schira, Napoli will pay a fixed sum of €25 million, plus an additional €4 million in potential bonuses.
Lang, who developed his skills at the youth academies of Feyenoord and Ajax, made the switch to PSV in 2023 from Club Brugge, who received €12 million for the Dutch winger. Over two seasons with the 26-time champions, Lang notched up 19 goals and provided 14 assists in 63 appearances.
