A remarkable ten out of eleven players in the starting lineup currently showcase their skills in the A-Leagues, with only Sebastian Esposito, a defender from US Lecce, representing overseas-based Olyroos, selected by head coach Trevor Morgan to face the UAE.

The Olyroos approached their second encounter in the tournament following a 2-1 victory over Croatia and maintained their unbeaten record against the UAE.

Following the 0-0 deadlock, the Olyroos will turn their attention to an upcoming match against Qatar on Tuesday night, concluding their campaign at the Doha International Under-23 Cup.
