Motorsport Australia is delighted to announce the continuation and expansion of its partnership with Michelin Australia in 2025, further reinforcing the tyre brand’s enduring commitment to Australian motorsport.
As a founding partner of the FIA Girls on Track initiative in Australia since 2020, Michelin will maintain its vital role in creating opportunities for young women pursuing careers in the motorsport industry.
Scott Tabe-Lewis, General Manager of Partnerships at Motorsport Australia, expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership and its diverse benefits to the sport.
“Motorsport Australia is excited to see Michelin—not only a globally respected brand deeply integrated into our sport—continuing to support the FIA Girls on Track programme and expanding their dedication to motorsport at every level,” Tabe-Lewis remarked.
“This partnership extends beyond just nurturing the future stars of our industry—Michelin also provides tangible value to our members, who can take advantage of exclusive promotions and offers across their range of tyres. It’s a genuine partnership that supports motorsport from grassroots all the way to the national scene.”

David Laing, Marketing Manager at Michelin Australia, underscored the tangible impact of the FIA Girls on Track programme by sharing a success story from the initiative.
“A prime example of how the programme operates is our PR and Media Manager, Ebony Doherty, a champion of Girls on Track, who has actively participated in various Pathways events over the years,” Laing noted.
“During the 2023 Sandown Pathways event, Ebony connected with Claudia Dimech, a Girls on Track participant who was studying communications while also undertaking impressive, industry-related internships. Fast forward less than a year—Claudia successfully joined the Michelin Australia marketing team full-time in 2024 as a Communications and Partnership Executive.
“This illustrates the effectiveness of the programme in opening doors, building networks, and nurturing the next generation of talented women in the industry. We are proud to support such a transformative initiative.”
With Michelin Australia’s ongoing dedication to the FIA Girls on Track programme, aspiring young women in motorsport will continue to receive invaluable career development opportunities, shaping the future of the sport.
As the partnership grows further in 2025, Motorsport Australia extends its gratitude to Michelin for their unwavering support and commitment to enhancing opportunities for young women and the broader motorsport community.
