Jeff Hopkins, head coach of Melbourne Victory, has been awarded the Ninja A-League Coach of the Month for March following a popular vote among fans.
With a decisive lead in the voting, Hopkins triumphed over fellow candidates Adrian Stenta (Adelaide United), Michael Matricciani (Melbourne City), and Ryan Campbell (Newcastle Jets) to secure this honour for March.
His nomination for Coach of the Month came through the Football Coaches Australia’s monthly selection process.

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) collaborated with the FCA during the 2022-23 season, allowing fans significant influence in recognising exceptional coaching achievements across both the Ninja A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
A seasoned panel appointed by the FCA determines the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month, from which fans then vote to select the winner.
The eligibility window for March consisted of Rounds 17-20 of the Ninja A-League season, encompassing matches played between 28 February and 26 March, which the FCA Panel considered when selecting nominees.
During this eligibility period, Hopkins guided his team through three matches, achieving victories in each one.
