Valere Germain, the captain of the Macarthur Bulls, has officially departed from the Isuzu UTE A-League side to chase an exciting opportunity abroad.
Having joined Macarthur ahead of the 2023-24 season, Germain finishes his tenure as the club’s all-time leading scorer.
The 34-year-old forward has netted 27 goals and contributed 13 assists throughout his time with the Bulls. In the current season, he tallied seven goals and one assist in the A-Leagues.

Additionally, Germain played a vital role in Macarthur’s success, scoring four goals during their victorious run in the 2024 Australia Cup.
The Bulls expressed their gratitude, stating: “Germain’s contribution to the club has been nothing short of remarkable. We thank Valere for his hard work and dedication to Macarthur FC and wish him all the best in his future pursuits.”
Head coach Mile Sterjovski added: “It’s unfortunate to see Valere leave. He is a fantastic individual and a true professional who always gave his all for the team. I could tell he enjoyed his time with the club.
“Our progress this season has evidently garnered interest in our players, both young and experienced. We wish Valere nothing but success.”
