Paris Saint-Germain have clinched the Ligue 1 title with six matches still to play, but coach Luis Enrique has stated that the French champions remain intensely focused as they aim to conclude the season unbeaten. This sentiment comes ahead of their clash with Le Havre on Saturday.
With 74 points from 28 matches, PSG secured their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title earlier this month, while also progressing to the semi-finals of the Champions League and the final of the French Cup.
As they prepare to host relegation-threatened Le Havre, Luis Enrique emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards, insisting that his team must remain vigilant if they hope to become the first side to win the French top-tier without a single defeat.
“We’re approaching upcoming matches with the same mindset. There’s a record within reach, and it’s up to the team to seize it,” Luis Enrique told journalists.
“Such achievements don’t occur very frequently, and that’s what fuels our ambition. We are already champions. If you aspire to play for PSG and remain here over the long term, you must consistently perform at your absolute best.”
“Le Havre finds themselves in a precarious position. It will likely be one of our toughest matches of the season.”

PSG face a packed schedule, with three league matches in just eight days against Le Havre, Nantes, and Nice, before locking horns with Premier League side Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals at the Emirates Stadium on April 29th.
When questioned about the prospect of finally securing the European Cup for PSG, the Spanish manager stated: “We haven’t fulfilled our goal yet. Since taking on this role, our ambition has been to create history.”
“To do that, we must secure every title, especially the one that you all know well. We are committed to giving our all to achieve it. The most crucial aspect for me is the journey towards this goal. It hinges on our efforts…
“We’ve already faced Arsenal at the beginning of the season. We know who stands in our way. They are one of Europe’s finest. Under (Mikel) Arteta, they’ve made great strides and are performing exceptionally well.”
