Queensland star Cameron Munster has expressed uncertainty over whether Craig Bellamy will reveal any of his “dark secrets” as the Melbourne coach navigates an awkward situation ahead of Origin I.
Bellamy is serving as an advisor for the Blues and has several of his Storm players, including Munster, competing for the Maroons.
During an appearance on Nine’s 100% Footy, Munster was asked what he thought Bellamy might share with the NSW team about him.
“Don’t hang around me. Just steer clear,” he quipped.

Though Munster briefly adopted a serious tone, he quickly returned to his light-hearted self.
“Honestly, he probably doesn’t even know. Craig always approaches me before games in the sheds, telling me to ‘just back yourself, whatever you see, go for it’. He really gives me that freedom,” Munster explained.
“I’m not certain he’ll be providing the opposition with any ammunition or intel, but here’s hoping he doesn’t reveal my hidden weaknesses.”

“That said, I sometimes feel a bit lost myself, both on and off the field.”
“Let’s hope I can deliver something memorable for the Queensland crowd on Wednesday night.”
Munster was a pivotal absence for Queensland during the 2024 Origin series due to injury sustained the previous year.
