The Western Sydney Wanderers have announced that 2024 Julie Dolan Medal winner Sophie Harding has left the club after she requested an early termination of her contract.
At just 26 years of age, Harding extended her contract for another two seasons in May 2024 following her triumph in the Ninja A-League 2023-24 season. However, just a year later, she has decided to part ways with the Wanderers due to personal reasons.

Reflecting on her time at the club, Harding expressed, “The Western Sydney community and fans have been incredibly supportive since my arrival, and I will forever be thankful for that.”
“This experience has not only improved my skills as a player but also as an individual, and I cherish the memories I’ve made along the way.”
Harding marks the first confirmed exit from the Wanderers following the conclusion of the Ninja A-League 2024-25 season.
