Former West Coast Eagles premiership player Adam Selwood has tragically passed away at the age of only 41.
Adam’s death occurred on Saturday morning, just three months following the loss of his twin brother, Troy, who died by suicide in February.
“Our hearts are broken by the news of Adam’s passing today,” stated a message from Adam’s wife, Fiona, along with the Selwood family.
“Adam was a devoted husband and a fantastic father to his children, Lenny and Billie. We are utterly devastated to lose such an amazing husband, father, son, and brother.
“We will feel Adam’s absence profoundly—his spirit, kindness, and the happiness he spread to everyone around him.
“His determination, the insights he offered, and his vibrant personality will remain with us forever.
“Adam had an extraordinary ability to make others feel valued, and our family was fortunate to experience that on a daily basis.
“We kindly ask for privacy as we go through this challenging period.”
