Fulham is reportedly facing significant competition in their pursuit of PSV striker Ricardo Pepi.
On Wednesday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano highlighted that the Cottagers are keen on signing PSV’s leading scorer, Ricardo Pepi, to enhance their attacking options. The American forward netted 11 goals in 18 league appearances before a serious knee injury cut his season short.
Although Fulham has set its sights on the international striker, they will encounter stiff competition. Ekrem Konur has suggested that the London club will have to contend with Serie A powerhouse Juventus and Conference League runners-up Real Betis for Pepi’s signature.
Securing Pepi from PSV is expected to be a challenging task. The young talent recently signed a contract extension with the Eredivisie champions, binding him to the club until 2030. PSV is likely to demand a hefty transfer fee, with journalist Rik Elfrink from Eindhovens Dagblad reporting that offers in the range of 25 to 30 million euros fall short of the club’s expectations.
