FIA Girls on Track and Race of Champions Pave the Way for Women in Motorsport

At the 2025 Race Of Champions held in Sydney, the FIA Girls on Track – Empower program achieved a significant milestone by forming a unique partnership with this prestigious global motorsport event for the first time.

Uniting leading drivers and industry experts, the initiative offered 12 young women immersive experiences in crucial operational areas including media relations, social media management, hospitality, passenger coordination, and event production.

Created to furnish young women with practical exposure to major motorsport operations, the FIA Girls on Track – Empower Program provided participants with invaluable access to real-world motorsport experiences.

Taking place at Accor Stadium from March 6-8, the Race Of Champions created a dynamic setting for this groundbreaking initiative, allowing selected participants to contribute across various key event sectors. The program aimed to inspire and equip the next generation of women within motorsport with practical skills and industry insight.

“It’s essential to create impactful opportunities for young women to gain practical experience, which is vital for promoting diversity in motorsport. The participants of the program actively engaged in various operational tasks including show production assistance, media coordination, social media content management, and passenger logistics. Their efforts were instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of the Race Of Champions, showcasing the initiative’s success.

Following the successful launch of the FIA Girls on Track – Empower program, Motorsport Australia is excitedly looking to introduce more opportunities for aspiring young women in motorsport, aiming for enhanced representation and inclusivity within the industry.
