FC Copenhagen has officially announced on their website the acquisition of 19-year-old defender Yoram Zague from Paris Saint-Germain, signing him on a loan deal that will extend until the summer of 2026.
“Yoram is a player we’ve been watching for a while now. He fits the profile we desire in that position – a young talent with European and international experience,” stated FC Copenhagen’s sporting director, Sune Smith-Nielsen.
“This arrangement allows us to evaluate his contributions, and it also includes an option to purchase, should we mutually determine that there’s a solid basis for a more permanent arrangement. He will enhance the competitive spirit within our squad, bringing both speed and talent to our defensive lineup.”
Zague began his career at AJN Bagnolet and moved on to Paris FC before joining the Paris Saint-Germain Pre-Youth Academy at the age of 13. He continued to develop within the club’s youth system, advancing through the U17 and U19 teams as part of the Rouge et Bleu.
At just 19, the emerging French full-back already boasts an impressive collection of silverware, including 2 Ligue 1 titles (2024 and 2025), 2 Coupe de France trophies (2024 and 2025), and 1 Trophée des Champions (2024) during his time with Paris Saint-Germain.
Owing to his remarkable talent and potential, Zague has also made his mark on the international stage, earning multiple selections for the French national teams across the U17, U18, and U19 categories.
