On Sunday evening, FC Copenhagen crowned their season in style by clinching the Danish title with a convincing 3-0 victory at a sold-out Parken Stadium. FC Midtjylland, the reigning champions, had to settle for second place despite a thrilling 3-2 comeback win against Randers. Meanwhile, Brøndby secured third place by handing AGF their seventh consecutive defeat, also with a score of 3-2 in Aarhus.
Knowing that a win would secure their 16th Danish championship, Jacob Neestrup’s men kicked off the final game of the season with high spirits. The excitement started early, with Elias Achouri unleashing a powerful strike that flew past Andreas Hansen in the visitors’ goal just two minutes into the match.
This breakthrough goal gave the home side a lead by half-time, although the first period was marred by a worrying clash between Lucas Hoegsberg and Gabriel Pereira, which left Pereira unconscious. Fortunately, he was stretchered off and later reported to be recovering well.
Henrik Larsson’s son, the Swedish striker, has been outstanding in the Danish Superliga this spring and continued his stellar form, sending the Copenhagen crowd into a frenzy when he met an exquisite through-ball from Achouri and slotted it past Hansen to double the advantage just three minutes into the second half.

Kevin Diks then added the finishing touch to his farewell game with FC Copenhagen, converting a penalty after Victor Froholdt was fouled in the area, effectively sealing the match for the home side.
In the final table, FC Midtjylland finished only one point behind FC Copenhagen after they managed to come from behind to beat Randers 3-2 at home. The visitors had taken a surprising lead with a goal from Elies Mahmoud, but Midtjylland struck back with two goals within six minutes to secure the win.
Brøndby secured their third-place finish with a 3-2 victory in Aarhus, condemning Uwe Rösler’s side to their seventh straight spring defeat. After a mistake from goalkeeper Leopold Wahlstedt allowed Yuito Suzuki to put the visitors ahead, Tobias Mølgaard and Mikael Anderson replied with stunning long-range efforts to turn the tide for Brøndby.
Despite Brøndby’s dominance, the hosts found a way to respond with goals from Noah Nartey and Nicolai Vallys, much to the frustration of the home fans.
Meanwhile, Aab and Lyngby faced relegation from the Superliga, making way for OB and Fredericia to join the top tier next season.
