EXCLUSIVE: Neymar’s Father Highlights Strong Wish to Extend Santos Contract

Neymar’s father, who also manages him, is keen for the football sensation to extend his stay at Santos. Speaking exclusively to Flashscore during the Confut USA event in Miami, he shared insights on his son’s potential future, while emphasising that the final choice rests with Neymar himself.

“I hope he remains at Santos. I would like him to continue. The decision will be his, as always. We’ll lay out the options available for his development,” Neymar’s father stated.

“What I prioritise is Neymar’s progression. That’s why we are assisting Santos in its restructuring efforts, allowing him to thrive in the second half of the year, especially with a year until the World Cup, ensuring he is in the best environment to maintain peak performance,” he elaborated.
