With a third of the group matches already completed, this early snapshot of the expanded tournament highlights the well-established hierarchy in international club football. True to expectations, teams from UEFA and CONMEBOL are performing at a distinctly higher level, leaving others struggling behind.

The statistics from the opening 16 matches tell a compelling tale: European clubs dominate with six victories, as Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus, and Salzburg each secured wins.
