Cole Palmer, England’s promising young talent, set the bar high in 2024 with an impressive record of 29 goals and eight assists for Chelsea during that period.
However, since the beginning of 2025, his performance has dipped, resulting in just three goals and five assists to date. Fortunately for Chelsea, Enzo Fernandez has stepped up to fill the void.
The Argentine midfielder scored a crucial goal against Los Angeles FC with only ten minutes remaining, solidifying his status as the club’s top scorer and chief assist provider so far in 2025.
With six goals in recent matches and despite playing outside his usual position, Fernandez has taken charge of the team’s offensive output.
