Brisbane Roar centre-back Leia Varley has secured a two-year extension on her contract with the Ninja A-League outfit.
Having joined the Roar ahead of the 2024-25 season, Varley will now remain with the club until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season.

The 23-year-old defender has made a significant impact since her move from Premiership-winning Melbourne City, notching up 14 appearances, scoring her first goal in the A-Leagues, and delivering an impressive 64 clearances, 10 blocks, and 25 interceptions.

“I’m thrilled to extend my journey here at Brisbane Roar,” Varley stated.
“This season, the club has really allowed me to establish myself in the league, and I’m confident that I will continue to grow as a footballer every time I step out in the Roar colours.
