Chris Randall has been honoured as the Supercheap Auto Official Superstar for June. This accolade follows his impressive transition from competitor to official at a recent MSCA Super Sprint Championship event held at The Bend Motorsport Park. Although Randall had intended to participate in the competition, his vehicle wasn’t prepared in time. Nonetheless, he made the effort to attend and stepped into the role of flag marshal during the event.
Chris’s dedication is well-known. As a long-standing member of the MG Car Club Victoria (MGCC), he dedicates nearly every Wednesday to the Rob Roy Hillclimb, where he is part of the club’s “Wednesday Warriors” team. Whether it involves mowing the lawns, digging, or aiding in the maintenance of the venue, Chris is always present, ready to lend a hand and ensure everything operates smoothly.
He has been a staple in grassroots motorsport officiating for several years, frequently participating in events organised by both MGCC and MSCA. Usually working as a flag marshal, Randall also regularly attends the Sandown Historics and contributes to as many as 15 events each year.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the sport, Chris will receive a $100 Supercheap Auto gift card, along with a commemorative pin and certificate.
