Cristiano Ronaldo has come to an agreement with Al Nassr that will see him extend his tenure at the Saudi club, with discussions ongoing regarding the contract’s duration, which could potentially last for two years.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Ronaldo has finalised terms to renew his contract with Al Nassr, with his existing deal set to expire on June 30th.
The only remaining detail to be determined is the length of the agreement; one season is assured, but Saudi officials are aiming for an extension until 2027.
This represents a significant decision for the Saudi league. Back in December 2022, Ronaldo was the first major star to accept an offer from the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and make the move to Riyadh, although his time at Al Nassr has not been entirely triumphant.
While he has netted an impressive 99 goals in 111 appearances, he has yet to secure any major silverware, prompting rumours of a potential exit.
However, it now appears that such a departure is unlikely.
