Cristiano Ronaldo has finalised an agreement with Al Nassr that will see him continue at the Saudi club, with discussions ongoing regarding the length of the contract, which could extend up to two years.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Ronaldo has secured a deal to renew his contract with Al Nassr, with his current terms set to expire on June 30th.
The only aspect still under negotiation is the duration of the contract; one year is confirmed, but Saudi officials are aiming for an extension that could last until 2027.
This is a significant move for the Saudi league. In December 2022, Ronaldo became the first marquee player to accept the invitation from the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and make the switch to Riyadh. However, his time at Al Nassr has not been entirely successful.
Despite netting an impressive tally of goals (99 in 111 appearances), he has yet to clinch any major silverware, which has sparked speculation regarding a potential exit.
Nevertheless, it appears that such a departure is now off the table.
