Serie A club Como has reportedly made substantial bids for AZ winger Jayden Addai.
As per renowned Italian transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, Como initiated dialogue regarding Addai with an initial offer of €10 million, which AZ promptly rejected as they are keen to retain the talented young winger.
Further information from Voetbal International reveals that Como has elevated their bid to €12 million. Additionally, the Serie A outfit is in discussion to secure Real Betis winger Jesus Rodriguez, according to Di Marzio.
The 19-year-old Addai distinguished himself as a key player in AZ’s victorious U19 squad that clinched the UEFA Youth League title in 2023, netting four goals and providing two assists in eight appearances.
Injuries limited Addai to just 652 minutes of play for the senior team last season. The young talent scored three goals, including two in the KNVB Beker, and did not register any assists across competitions. However, he showcased his ability at Jong AZ, the club’s U21 team, with an impressive tally of seven goals and three assists in 12 Eerste Divisie matches.
