Brian Riemer Unveils Major Surprises in Denmark’s Line-Up for Nations League Showdown Against Portugal

In a surprising turn of events, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund have been omitted from Denmark’s starting line-up for their match against Portugal, allowing Mika Biereth to make his debut from the kick-off.

Brian Riemer, in his third outing as the head coach of the Danish national team, has opted for significant changes, implementing no fewer than six alterations to the starting line-up since his previous match.

The 22-year-old Mika Biereth, who has been in sensational form for AS Monaco, scoring 11 goals in his last nine Ligue 1 appearances, has been entrusted with a starting role.

As a result, Hojlund will take a place among the substitutes.
