Australia boasts four teams among the top six on the Super Rugby Pacific ladder following an impressive performance by the Western Force, who dominated the Fijian Drua in a convincing 52-15 victory in Perth.
The Force registered eight tries, matching their club record set against the Lions in 2009, showcasing their attacking prowess against a Drua outfit that had previously knocked off the top-ranked Chiefs earlier this month.

Leading the charge was hooker Nic Dolly, who scored a hard-fought hat trick in the afternoon sun at nib Stadium. Dolly, who played a single Test for England in 2021, is soon set to be eligible for Australia.
Wallabies flanker Carlo Tizzano also shone, adding two tries to his tally, which now makes him the leading try-scorer in the competition with an impressive total of eight tries after six rounds. Tizzano sits ahead of Crusaders wingers Sevu Reece and Macca Springer, both on six tries.

One of the standout highlights came from Potter, who scored two stunning tries. His first effort is likely to be a contender for try of the season as he dashed from inside his own half after receiving a quick lineout throw from fullback Mac Grealy, leaving a number of Drua defenders in his wake.
Potter’s second try was almost as impressive, as he exploited a gap off the shoulder of fly-half Ben Donaldson, kicked ahead, and then re-gathered to score.
By halftime, the Force had established a commanding 33-5 lead.
“The Western Force were exceptional today, demonstrating ruthlessness in the first half and maintaining control throughout the match,” commented Morgan Turinui on Stan Sport. “They measured the Drua well and then re-accelerated to put up one of their most impressive scores in history.”
Although the Force have never made the finals in Super Rugby history, they currently sit sixth with a 3-3 record. The top six teams out of eleven qualify for the playoffs.
“I thought we executed well today. We held on to possession during crucial phases, which helped wear them down,” said Force coach Simon Cron. “Donno (Donaldson) played brilliantly, but he was supported well by those around him who created space. His performance was outstanding, and we were able to score points. This week, the key was having more players on their feet, good width in our defence, and staying connected. Our forwards were effective with strong carries, dominant cleans, and a touch of skill.”
This victory ended a streak of three consecutive losses, and the Force will now face the third-placed Queensland Reds in Brisbane this Saturday.
