Arsenal Allegedly Ramp Up their Bid to Outpace Chelsea in the Chase for Jorrel Hato

Arsenal are said to be ramping up their pursuit of Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.

The 19-year-old has made a significant impact in recent seasons with Ajax, surpassing 100 appearances before reaching his 19th birthday and establishing himself as a key player in their defence.

Hato has caught the eye of several top European clubs, notably Chelsea and Arsenal. As reported by numerous outlets, including CaughtOffside, Arsenal have escalated their efforts to secure the young talent. “Arsenal have opened official talks with Ajax and have had constructive discussions with Jorrel Hato’s representatives,” a source is quoted as saying to CaughtOffside.

The Gunners are believed to have put a six-year contract on the table for the promising defender.

It is said that Arsenal have been keen on Hato since January and are eager to seize this opportunity before Chelsea makes their move. The Blues have reportedly engaged in discussions with both Hato and his agent earlier this off-season.
